This workshop in the 2020 Bible & Well Being Series will explore the link between character building, virtuous life and human flourishing. Even though “virtue” may not be a word we use every day, it defines the qualities of a person of character, and points to a journey of growth towards well-being, spiritual and human flourishing, and mature Christian life. Moving from the first chapter of the second letter of Peter, where we find a list of virtues that mark a Christ-like disciple, the retreat will explore the meaning and relevance of each core virtue mentioned by Peter and their significance and connection to our well-being. Participant will gain useful insights to integrate virtuous and fruitful living with daily situations.
