THE MARK OF A
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
A Christ-centered way of living promotes a fulfilling life. The new series BeFIT (Formed, Informed, and Transformed) gives you the opportunity to explore human attitudes that foster well-being. With Scripture, Spirituality, and Psychology, you will pursue a journey of human development and spiritual enrichment to become attuned to our inner movements that may enhance or hinder our growth towards well-being.
The program Virtuous Well-being: the Mark of a Christ-centered Life will explore the link between character building, virtuous life, and human flourishing. Even though 'virtue' may not be a word we use every day, it defines the qualities of a person of character, and points to a journey of growth towards well-being, spiritual and human flourishing, and mature Christian life.
Moving from the first chapter of the Second letter of Peter, where we find a list of virtues that mark a Christ-like disciple, the four online sessions (and the online one day version) will explore the meaning and relevance of each core virtue mentioned by Peter and their significance and connection to our well-being.
The program will be offered in two formats: 4 evening sessions of 1 hour or a 1-day online workshop from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Hopefully, participants will gain useful insights to integrate virtuous and fruitful living in their daily situations.
STARTING DATE: March 2, 2021 (evening sessions)
ONE-DAY ONLINE WORKSHOP: March 13, 2021, from 10: AM to 4:00 PM.
