Most of us struggle with wounds from our past that have created distorted ideas about our value. Shame, insecurity, anxiety - lots of emotional burdens may stem from these wrong ways of thinking about ourselves. God’s Word in the Scriptures gives us a true mirror which reflects our actual worth. This day-long retreat is an opportunity to reflect carefully and prayerfully on selected Bible passages from both the Old and New Testaments. These passages have been chosen to correctly convey to us how God views us, thus seeking to correct the wrong ideas we have of ourselves which come from our painful past.
