ABOUT
The Pilgrimage to
La Salette & Italy
Some journeys change where you are.
Others quietly change who you become.
This pilgrimage invites you to walk the places
where faith was tested, lived, and handed on,
from Mary’s call at La Salette to the apostolic heart of the Church in Italy.
Not a tour of sites, but a path of renewal.

Your Itinerary
Begins Here!

La Salette
Your journey begins in La Salette, where the Virgin Mary appeared in 1846 to Mélanie Calvat and Maximin Giraud. In this place of beauty, silence, and wide horizons, you are invited to listen anew to Mary’s call to reconciliation, conversion, and hope, a call that quietly begins to shape your heart and gently guides the entire pilgrimage

Turin
Turin welcomes you as a city shaped by the Holy Shroud, preserved at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and by the saints it has given the Church: St. John Bosco, St. Joseph Cafasso, St. Dominic Savio, and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, whose lives continue to teach faith, charity, and courageous holiness today for pilgrims.

Ravenna
You arrive in Ravenna, where luminous basilica mosaics still speak a visual language of faith. Here, you encounter how the first Christian communities proclaimed Christ through light, color, and sacred beauty. As you linger, these ancient images invite you to see belief not only heard or read, but contemplated, prayed, and carried quietly within the heart.

Florence
Your pilgrimage continues in Florence, where faith, art, and culture still converse. You walk a city that has long drawn the human heart toward God through beauty and creativity. Here, you sense how inspiration becomes prayer, and creativity becomes praise, inviting you to contemplate God not only in words, but in form, color, and harmony.

Rome / Vatican
Your pilgrimage reaches its heart in Rome and nearby Ostia. Here, you step into the living center of the universal Church. Visiting the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the great basilicas, you walk places sanctified by apostles and martyrs, where faith was witnessed, proclaimed, and sealed in sacrifice.

Ostia
As you walk through Ostia Antica, closely linked to the missionary journeys of St. Paul, you are reminded that the Gospel first traveled ordinary roads and daily encounters. Here, among streets and ruins, you sense how faith spread through human relationships, courage, and quiet fidelity, one conversation, one journey, one life at a time.
