ABOUT THE 8-DAY SILENT RETREAT
A Deeper Journey into Prayer,
Healing, and Trust
This extended retreat offers the gift of time —time to pray slowly, listen deeply, and allow patterns to emerge without rushing to conclusions. Ignatian spirituality unfolds prayer over days, inviting attentiveness to what stirs within—places of attraction, resistance, fear, or hope. Internal Family Systems provides a compassionate lens for engaging these movements, helping retreatants meet their inner life with curiosity rather than judgment.
RETREAT FACILITATOR:
FR. JEFF PUTTHOFF, SJ.

Each day includes:
-
Guided Scripture-based prayer
-
Personal prayer time
-
A daily one-on-one conversation with the retreat director
-
Extended silence for reflection, rest, and integration
-
Mass
Rather than striving for answers or spiritual “progress,” this retreat invites you to listen —to God, to yourself, and to what is asking for attention and care. Many who have experience with retreats find this approach both familiar and newly freeing.
A meaningful retreat
especially for those:
-
At a point of transition or discernment
-
Seeking greater interior freedom or integration
-
Wanting to deepen a long-standing prayer practice
-
Desiring space to listen beneath habitual patterns
About Silence
Silence is not about withdrawal or isolation. It is a way of creating space —space to listen more honestly, pray more attentively, and rest more deeply in God’s presence. Meals, prayer, and daily life are shared quietly, allowing God’s voice to emerge beyond words.
